PEP delivers industry expertise to the Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve Project Management Office, which oversees the daily operations of major crude oil storage sites and logistical facilities for the nation’s emergency oil stockpile. For this Department of Energy agency, PEP manages the Correspondence Control Center’s administrative services including processing mail, tracking documents, and periodicals. In addition, PEP conducted a process evaluation of the budget office, identifying strategies to improve efficiencies, and assisted with the development of NE’s Human Capital Plan for long-term personnel planning. PEP’s work with DHS dates back to the department’s inception in 2003. PEP supports the DHS Offices of Cyber Security & Communications, Budget, Finance, and Acquisition with activities focused on budget and finance, personnel administration, administrative roles and tasks, and surge and transition. PEP provides key daily operations and performance support includes collecting, tracking, reporting and managing data, and documentation services.
