PEP Awarded National Science Foundation, Division of Human Resources Management (HRM) Human Capital Planning Support

November 2019:

PEP announces a second Human Capital and Training Solutions (HCaTS) contract award. In September 2019, PEP was selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide Strategic Human Capital Planning services to NSF’s Division of Human Resources Management. This follows an August 2019 award by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs for human resource services.

NSF is an independent U.S. government agency that supports fundamental research and education in all the non-medical fields of science and engineering. With the mission to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; and to secure the national defense, NSF funds approximately 20% of all federally supported basic research conducted by America’s colleges and universities.

As part of this contract, PEP will support a broad range of human capital initiatives within the Division of Human Resources Management (HRM), which manages human resource functions for NSF and supports NSF business units as they establish strategic direction and build the workforce they require to fulfill their mission requirements.

PEP will provide expertise and assistance to design, develop, and implement human capital solutions that support:  HRM operational effectiveness and delivery of high-quality customer service; agency reform activities; development and streamlining of policies and procedures; staffing planning and strategic workforce planning; and employee engagement, recognition, and retention.

This contract was awarded through Pool 2 of the HCaTS Small Business vehicle, a streamlined, strategically sourced contract vehicle that allows government agencies to procure customized human capital management and training services. PEP, as an HCaTS SB Pool 2 contractor, has been vetted by GSA and endorsed as a highly capable, best-in-class service provider.

PEP’s HCaTS SB credentials are backed by the company’s 20 years of service—through 60+ prime contracts—to its federal clients, including the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration; the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy and Strategic Petroleum Reserve; the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Cyber Security and Communications; and the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Family Assistance.
